PC/Laptop Repairs / Upgrade
In addition to services offered by us directly, we also work closely with well established associate companies who provide a complete range of PC/Laptop related services backed up by a comprehensive stock of parts at much better rates than going direct. We can also resolve software problems, remove viruses or spy-ware and supply and carry out installation of hardware components - either to affect a repair or to upgrade. Building of new bespoke PC systems to order and provision of network installations and maintenance is also a specialty. A few examples of our many services are listed below. PC Crashing or Freezing

If your computer crashes or freezes in the middle of an application or favorite game it can be that a hardware conflict is causing the problem. Software can become corrupt, graphics drivers may need updating or memory speed may be inadequate. Whatever the problem, our engineers are ready to help.
Software installation Problems

Are you having problems installing certain software or perhaps you have installed software, which has had unexpected side effects or is causing conflicts with existing installed software? We can help with your software problems. Some of the software problems we can handle include:

Internet Problems (On-Site Covering Midlands UK only)

We would be happy to install your modem/router, set up or configure an DSL/ADSL (broadband) connection or help with any Internet or e-mail problems you may be having. Our only constraint would be geographical, which effectively is 1 hour traveling time from Birmingham to your designated site.
Hardware Failures or Upgrades

We install processors, memory, processors, motherboards, hard drives, batteries, power supplies/AC Adaptors, graphics and sound cards, modems, optical  drives, floppy drives, etc. which can be supplied by Yemtec or a third party of your choice. We also supply used/refurb/new branded PC systems and our staff with years of experience can help you make the selection the right system that give the most economical answer to fulfill the PCs perceived role.
PC Not Booting

Non booting computers producing error messages, blue screens or a safe mode screen are a common problem and our engineers are very experienced in identifying the problems and in restoring a computer system to perfect health.
Network Installation and Maintenance (On-Site Covering Midlands UK only)

Our engineers are experienced in the design, installation and configuration of networks (both peer-to-peer and server based) and in troubleshooting a wide variety of network and server related problems including wired and wireless network connections.
Virus / Spy-ware Attacks

Virus and spy-ware attacks are becoming more frequent and their effect on business more serious. They can be amongst the hardest computer problems to deal with. You will need our professional help not only to clear the virus but repair the damage it may have done to your system software. We can identify quarantine and delete nearly all known viruses and install virus protection programs and firewalls to greatly reduce the risk of further contamination.

On-Site Business Support (Covering Midlands UK only)

For business customers requiring on-going support for their office computers, we offer the option of purchasing Prepaid Support Hours.
Available in blocks of 5, 10 or 20, Prepaid Support Hours are priced at a substantial discount from our standard hourly rate.
Prepaid Support Hours are valid for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase and would give your business priority when booking an engineer visit.
They form the ideal solution for any business that does not want to be committed to an expensive maintenance contract, but needs the reassurance of knowing that its IT support requirements are in the hands of an established and professional company.
Third Party Service Contract
We also act seamlessly on behalf of many other computer repair and maintenance companies, who make use of our locally based engineers to provide support in the Midlands area, in areas where they have no local presence. Please contact us if you would like to discuss establishing such a relationship.
